Feedlot Studios does the Gabriola Thanksgiving Studio Tour (October 8-10)

Join us at Feedlot Studios as we are part of the annual Gabriola Thanksgiving Studio Tour. Featuring 60 artists in 42 different studios, you'll want to be sure that you grab a Tour Map from Artworks in the Village.  This year we will be Number 32 on the map and we are but a hop, skip and a jump off of Buttercup that is located off of North Road.

Featured this year at Feedlot will be the fine ceramic styings of Mariko Paterson McCrae. Drawing on the things around her you are bound to find a booty of pigs, chicken, sheep and even some wares of a nautical nature. All handmade, hand decorated and hankering for food service, you are bound to find something that will make your heart skip just a little.Cochon Mugs

Also sharing the spotlight will be the painted works of Derrill Shuttleworth. Using watercolors or acrylics Derrill also strives to capture the beauty around him be it a landscpae, a nude, a boat or even a float plane. His works will be proudly displayed for your perusing and purchasing pleasure.

Join us on Monday and Wednesday evenings this fall and winter from 6-9 pm (or portion of) for some good, semi-clean ceramic fun....(save for Lynn's kooky antics of course)

We'll get you going on some holiday gift making ideas and lure that Art Star out of you that you always knew you had in you! So start making a list and checking it twice...I can even show you how to make lumps of coal for the not so deserving recipient on your Secret Santa list.

The Fee for Open Studio is still only $10/hour and that includes your materials and firings.

C'mon over to Feedlot Studios for this last great concert on the Paper Beat Scissors cross country tour.
Hear some new tunes from the upcoming Paper Beat Scissors album produced by Mike Feuerstack (Snailhouse, Bell Orchestre), mixed by Jeremy Gara (Arcade Fire). Tim is touring all the way from Halifax!
